The support guides for projects approved under the Incentive System for Research and Technological Development (companies) and the Support System for Scientific and Technological Research (non-business entities of the R&I System) contain the basic information required for monitoring the projects.

These documents contain information on the applicable legislation, obligations of beneficiaries, eligibility of expenditure, proof of commencement of implementation, documents to be submitted when applying for payment, contractual amendments, among others.

Publicising the incentives granted under the European Union Funds is an obligation under national and Community law.

Failure to do so may lead the project financing to be reduced or cancelled.

The entities with approved projects are subject to the information and communication obligations regarding the support provided under the Operational Programmes that finance the project.
