INDUSTRIAL R&D ON A EUROPEAN SCALE

In the field of synergies between European and Portuguese funding instruments, it is necessary to ensure synchronised national funding according to methodologies that are suitable for enhancing the added value of participating in international programmes and the internationalisation of Portuguese companies.

In this sense, the Research and Technological Development Incentives System (TR&D IS) - corporate R&D, under theInterface Programme, provides for the opening of applications for Industrial R&D Projects on a European Scale.

PURPOSE

To promote national co-funding of Portuguese entities participating in European R&D projects where co-funding is exclusively provided by national sources.

Projects with Portuguese participating entities, developed under the frameworks of the following European initiatives, are covered:

• EUREKA Network;
• Eurostars;
• Horizon 2020/ERA-NETS;
• Horizon 2020/Joint Undertakings.
