ANI intends to stimulate and facilitate the supply and demand of technology and business opportunities among the National Innovation System players. Through the Technology and Business Exchange (TBE), any entity can introduce its technological problem, look for technologies that meet its needs, as well as research patents and trademarks registered in Portugal.

As part of the participation in the Enterprise Europe Network Portugal (EEN-Portugal), ANI also promotes a Collaboration Opportunities Exchange at national and international level, offering its users a means to value R&D from searching for project partners and studying results, to promoting innovative products, facilitating access to new partnerships and markets.

The TBE objectives are as follows:

1. Provide a unique access point to Portuguese technological needs and offers, facilitating their research;
2. Support placing value on results and technology transfer from the NSTS companies to national and international companies;
3. Promote the internationalisation of Portuguese SMEs and the national technological offer in the global market;
4. Facilitate Portuguese business opportunities on an international level through the Enterprise Europe Network.

TBE is an integral part of the Innovation Portal.
