The Studies and Projects Lender (Finep)  is a Brazilian government agency for the promotion of science, technology and innovation, which stimulates the development of R&D activities in Brazilian companies and offers support to their insertion in the national and global markets.

The Brazilian Industrial Development Agency (ABDI)  is a government agency whose mission it is to develop strategic actions for Brazilian industrial policy through the promotion of productive investment, employment and innovation. It is responsible for implementing the Industry 4.0 agenda in Brazil.

The Singapore Intellectual Property Office (IPOS) and the ANI signed a protocol in 2017 in the fields of innovation, R&D and funding for innovative projects. This protocol was signed in Singapore with the objective of identifying opportunities for the development of Research and Innovation projects by consortia of Portuguese and Singaporean entities, with regards to catapulting these partnerships to global markets. 

In 2018, ANI was in Singapore from the 3rd til the 6th of September  to promote bilateral cooperation in innovation, business research, technology development and technology transfer. At the invitation of IPOD (Intellectual Property Office of Singapore), ANI participated in IP Week@SG 2018.

The Frisian Design Factory   positions itself as an organic unit of the NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, Dutch higher education institution with reference activity in research based on practice and the implementation of knowledge in the business fabric in the local context.

 DEMOLA GLOBAL  stands as an international agent facilitating co-creation projects between companies, universities and public organisations. In Portugal it is referenced with largest expression in the northern region.

 ARENE represents 25 Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences, operating as an agent for the promotion of co-partnership networks between higher education institutions of applied sciences in an international context and experts with influence at European level.

ANI has been part of the Working Group of the National Research and Agricultural and Animal Research Center, Rexia2, since 2018, for adequate cooperation among agencies associated with research, experimentation and demonstration in the areas of agricultural, agri-food and forestry production. 

This Network aims to provide opportunities for learning and research and development activities based on practice and action, as well as opportunities for cooperation among students, teachers and researchers of the Higher Agrarian Schools of the polytechnic higher education system. It also aims to guide its activity towards valuing national agricultural products, namely regional ones, promoting the dissemination of initiatives in the field of innovation, promoting cooperation, training, diffusion and transfer of knowledge, contributing to competitiveness and sustainability of agri-sector companies.

ANI has been strengthening its collaboration with the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DGADR) since 2017, seeking to support the pursuit of activities aimed at contributing to the definition of strategic guidelines in the elaboration of policies to promote innovation in the agricultural sector at regional, interregional and European level, as well as to promote and capitalise information and results of innovation projects.

These objectives were achieved in 2017 through the participation of the ANI in the AGRI INNOVATION SUMMIT 2017International Summit, where it was a partner entity. In 2018, the ANI was again part of a new initiative to promote collaboration and networking among rural development agents relevant to agro-innovation in Portugal, as a partner of the National Innovation in Agriculture Summit - AGRO INOVAÇÃO 2018.
