ANI promoted the Cycle of Events - Dynamics for Innovation, a set of initiatives on the Appreciation of Knowledge, responding to strategic areas and sectors of the national economy considered as priorities for smart specialisation.
These events, that happened across the country, were divided into two parts over the course of each day: 'Technology Transfer Workshops' in the morning, aiming to stimulate the National Network of Technological Infrastructures, namely through the discussion of challenges of the next decade; Thematic Focus Group Meetings in the afternoon, with the aim of testing and validating ideas for R&D projects in pre-commercial phase, with potential for market value, through Open Innovation methodologies.
Production Technologies, Materials, Raw Materials, Forestry, Agri-food, Water and Environment, Sea, Health and Tourism were some of the 15 thematic areas for each of the actions, directed at Higher Education Institutions, Interface Centres, Collaborative Laboratories, Technology Transfer Offices, Clusters and companies in the regions where they took place.
